Injury Clinic Patient Testimonial
Kudos to Ozark Orthopaedics for establishing the after-hours, walk-in Injury Clinic.
I injured my right shoulder and left arm in an attempt to do a repair job on my deck at home on Friday, May 9, and didn’t realize the extent of the injuries that I sustained until
the following week. On Wednesday, May 14 I contacted my primary care doctor at the WRMC Senior Clinic who referred me to you.
I was given an appointment with you for Thursday, May 22 but was still in considerable pain. I then saw the advertisement in the newspaper for the new walk-in Injury Clinic and so I appeared at Ozark Orthopaedics after hours on the afternoon of May 14 and was immediately seen by Larrah Jenkins who had rays taken, prescribed an anti-inflammatory prescrption, and suggested that I keep my May 22 appointment with you if I was still in pain at that time.
As it turned out, I am feeling much better now and so I cancelled my May 22 appointment so as to not clutter up your schedule unnecessarily.
As I’m sure you’re aware, being seen in a timely manner for acute care in Fayetteville is problematical for a variety of maladies, unless the patient is willing to turn-in at the WRMC emergency room, so the Ozark Orthopaedics walk-in Injury Clinic is a definite answer to one of the problem areas. This is not to derogate the excellent and timely care
provided by the WRMC emergency room, but to recognize the value of this new alternative care available through Ozark Orthopaedics.
Thank you and Ozark Orthopaedics for being sympathetic to what can be a vexing problem.
Sincerely Yours, John W.
