How it works

Surgeries with the Mazor Renaissance Robot involves four steps:

Step 1. Preoperative planning
Using your preoperative CT scan, a blueprint of the ideal surgery is created in a virtual 3D environment.

Step 2. Attachment of the robot
A mount is attached to the affected site. This ensures maximum surgical accuracy all throughout the procedure.

Step 3. 3D synchronization
Using two fluoroscopy images, the mounting system and the surgical blueprint are automatically synchronized.

Step 4. Surgery
With the mounting system and survival blueprint synchronized, tools and implants are guided with 1 mm accuracy.
